Chempolis Oy has joined Canopy’s extensive brand partner network. The partnership became official as Chempolis signed Canopy’s ‘Ancient Forest Friendly and Next Generation Solution Policy’. By signing the policy, Chempolis shows its high commitment to supporting supply chain solutions that promote responsible environmental and ethical practices in sourcing, manufacturing, and the protection of global ecosystems.

Canopy works to protect the world’s old-growth forests by collaborating with businesses, scientists, and decision-makers. Together with its partners, Canopy creates sustainable supply chains and fosters innovative solutions to environmental challenges. The aim is to show that global supply chains can be changed for a circular, more sustainable future through strategic partnerships.

“We are excited to work alongside Canopy, whose collaborative approach to tackle the issues of our time is admirable. By joining Canopy’s partner network, Chempolis can speed up the progress in becoming a mainstream solution for sustainable solutions”, says the CEO of Chempolis Heli Antila.

The network Chempolis has joined extends to over 950 partners today. The common goal of the companies and Canopy is to work towards eliminating sourcing from Ancient and Endangered Forests and bring game-changing solutions from niches to the mainstream.

Chempolis’ solutions are built upon innovative formico® biorefining technologies that provide profitable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions for various industries. Our solutions do not exploit Ancient and Endangered Forests; we focus on refining lignocellulosic raw materials and non-food biomasses, such as bamboo and straw, into high-quality products. Chempolis is also dedicated to building environmental awareness about the issues among customers, employees, suppliers and peers.
