Sales / Account manager

selling Chempolis* biorefining technologies into markets of biofuels, specialty fibers and biochemicals.

The work field of our sales team comprises e.g. communication & contact to customers, meetings, presentations, answering to needs, in/outbound, exhibitions, seminars, negotiations, closing sales, agreements, licensing, partnerships, market/competitor/technology follow-up, project organizing & management, CRM, offer preparations, pricing, managerial tasks. Experience of some of beforementioned tasks and markets are required (not all of them), and Chemical Engineering education is preferred, or other relevant capability. Your role can be customized to your competence and motivation. You may also assume an Account manager role for a major account.

The hammer in your toolbox is a laptop. The workhorse is your brain, your customers will need your hearing ears and open mouth, and the employer will need your forward-looking attitude.

This work offers challenges, call for flexibility, high pressure at times, which at times can be stretching but on the other hand very rewarding and motivating. This work is not a stable 8am-4pm work with routine fixed scheme. Open-minded, straightforward attitude excels in this environment. Fear is not our feature, and failure does not fall us. Your work will be measured in topline sales, licenses/projects won, and personal targets tailored according to your capabilities.

Our Sales Director Hannu Hämäläinen (based in Turku) will help you succeed and make you feel important. You will find your leader hands-on, straight, easygoing and respectful. Our company culture is welcoming and dedicated. Your other nearest workmates will be the leaders of Technology, R&D, Customer Service and Engineering.

Remuneration will be industry competitive and tailored to your competence and ambition.

Ideal location is our headquarters in Oulu. Remote work is possible preferably from Turku or Helsinki. The work will require travelling globally. Language & cultural skills are valuable.
