
Honoured guests from India at Chempolis Biorefinery Park
Chempolis Oy had the privilege to host His Excellency Mr. Raveesh Kumar – Ambassador of India to Finland and his delegation, Mrs. Mridul Sharma – Marketing Executive, Embassy of India, on Thursday 16th September.

The Chempolis team, led by Mr. Visa Moilanen, presented to the guests the Chempolis Bio Refinery Park and the opportunities offered by Chempolis’ Formico-technology.
Mr. Hannu Hämäläinen presented to the delegation the long-term cooperation with India and the Chempolis Technology offering tremendous potential for the biorefining of abundant biomass feedstock existing in India. The presentation led to lively and fruitful discussion on paving the way for future bioeconomy growth.
During the tour of the Demo Plant led by Mr. Jukka Hyrkäs, the delegation got to study bamboo which will be used as feedstock in the biorefinery currently in construction in Assam, India. In the picture (from left to right) Mr. Hannu Hämäläinen, H.E. Mr. Raveesh Kumar, and Mrs. Mridul Sharma.
